The Marshall Police Department responded to the following calls from June 4-5, 2024:– Juvenile Report– Fraud – An individual reported that someone cashed two fraudulent checks into her account.
On Monday, May 13, a victim and witness entered the Marshall Police Department to file a report of child abuse.According to a probable cause statement, the witness provided a voluntary written statement about statements the victim had been making to her.

The Marshall Kiwanis Club held its regular meeting at noon, Tuesday, June 4, at Montague’s.Randal DeMasters offered the invocation, and Club President Elect Jeff Bergstrom led the Pledge of Allegiance and called the meeting to order with 20 members in attendance.Bergstrom reminded those in attendance to plan on attending the upcoming “Burger Bust.” That popular event will be held June 25, and a sign-up sheet was distributed for members to indicate their intentions to attend and also state what special dish they would be bringing to compliment the “World’s Best Burgers.”Following a brief discussion, the meeting was adjourned with Kevin Riggs winning the $10 pot.The next Kiwanis meeting will be June 11.
