The Marshall Kiwanis Club held its regular meeting at noon, Tuesday, May 14, at Montague’s.Randal DeMasters offered the invocation, and Club President Pam LaFrenz led the Pledge of Allegiance and called the meeting to order with 21 members and three visitors in attendance.Rex Betz introduced his son who was visiting.

Fulton man charged with trafficking drugs after I-70 well-being check

A Fulton man has been charged with trafficking drugs after a large amount of fentanyl was reportedly located in his vehicle when emergency personnel conducted a well-being check on the interstate.On Friday afternoon, June 14, Missouri State Highway Patrol received a report of a driver unresponsive near the Sweet Springs exit of westbound Interstate 70.According to a probable cause statement, troopers arrived and found a Mustang with Texas registration parked on the right shoulder of the interstate.
