SEDALIA – The State Fair Community College Foundation is seeking nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award.

A Marshall woman was injured in a Jackson County crash late Tuesday morning, July 16.According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred on Interstate 70 when a Kia Soul, driven by Leigh Lake, 49, of Marshall was traveling west in the right lane.

The Marshall Writers’ Guild met at 1 p.m.

The Marshall Police Department responded to the following calls from July 13-17, 2024:– Warrant arrest – Joseph Schneiders was arrested on the following warrants and transported to the Saline County Jail: A computer inquiry of Schneiders revealed he was a fugitive from justice from the City of Marshall for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Miscellaneous Ordinance Violation with a $50 cash or surety bond with Saline County only extradition; a computer inquiry of Schneiders revealed he was a fugitive from justice from Saline County for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Stealing with a $15,000 cash-only bond with full U.S.
