Marshall woman charged with domestic assault
A 20-year-old Marshall woman is facing two felony charges after allegedly cutting her boyfriend with a knife and slashing one of his tires.Unofficial online court documents state Nykeia Hayes has been charged with second degree domestic assault; unlawful use of a weapon – subsection 4 – exhibiting; and a misdemeanor for second-degree property damage.According to a probable cause statement filed with the Saline County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, a sheriff’s deputy responded to a residence Wednesday, July 7, for a disturbance in progress.
