A Sweet Springs man has been arrested following an incident in which he allegedly drove through several residential yards, causing significant property damage and hitting parked vehicles.

SALINE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation has opened the Lemon Trail bridge (County Road 211) over Interstate 70 near mile marker 81.6. The bridge had been scheduled for replacement and was removed in January 2025. The new Lemon Trail bridge was opened to traffic in August 2025. The Nitrogen Ave. (County Road 225) bridge over I-70 to the east is also included in this project. That bridge is scheduled for replacement by the end of 2026. All work is weather permitting.
