The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s basketball teams hosted Central Methodist (Mo.) in a Heart of America Athletic Conference doubleheader inside the Burns Athletic Complex, Wednesday evening. The Viking women’s team went to overtime and earned a 65-59 win. The men’s team held off the Eagles for an 82-81 victory.

On Thursday, Jan. 30, Controller Tony Bersano presented the first quarter financial report during the Marshall Municipal Utilities (MMU) Board of Public Works meeting, shedding light on the organization’s financial position.
