City Councilman Dan Brandt shed light on ongoing issues with recycling practices in the community at a Marshall City Council meeting Tuesday, Feb. 4. Brandt reported that a meeting with RTS, the city’s waste management contractor, highlighted concerns regarding a downturn in recyclable paper due to contamination in recycling dumpsters.
In a move to enhance community safety, the Marshall City Council met on Tuesday evening, Feb. 4, and voted to approve the first reading of an ordinance that will formalize an agreement with Saline County Emergency Management.
