Marshall girls lose to Lady Hornets

by Hobby KingSPORTS EDITORState-ranked Chillicothe started fast and continued to pull away in a 63-21 win at the Marshall Lady Owls in non-conference basketball action last Friday.The Lady Hornets opened the game with an 11-0 spree and raced away to a 15-point lead by the end of the first eight minutes.The lead increased to 19 early in the second quarter and wound up being 33-13 by halftime.“They came in 20-1, so I knew they were going to be good,” MHS head coach Diane Schlesselman said.
