The sidewalks of downtown Slater were bustling with excited spectators Saturday, Oct. 19, as the annual Fall Festival parade weaved its way through the heart of the city. Kicking off at 6 p.m., the evening came alive with the sound of the Slater High School Marching Band, the whimsical sights of a bubble-blowing vehicle, and a captivating array of Halloween-themed floats.
