Clarinetist Brandon Pace joins Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra for season finale concert

Marshall native and United States Navy Band Musician Third Class clarinetist Brandon Pace performs “Concerto for Clarinet” alongside the Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra during the season finale concert Sunday, April 14. Held at the Harold L. Lickey Auditorium of Bueker Middle School, the concert was the orchestra’s final performance of its 61st season. Conductor Kevin Lines closed the season with the following message: “The Marshall Philharmonic Board of Directors values and promotes the musical arts in Marshall, especially supporting young, professional, ‘homegrown’ talent. This concert represents the consummate example of the remarkable positive impact music teachers and music supporters have made on over 6 decades of Marshall musicians. As long as this lifeline remains strong in both financial support and in the uncompromising high standards of our music education professionals, Marshall will continue to boast being one of the greatest musically driven small towns in America. We are so very grateful for every kind word, every filled auditorium chair, every hour of time spent by our musicians, and every donation to continue the work started by Mr. Harold Lickey and MPO’s first organizers for many generations to come.
