Nancy J. Lightfoot, 76, of Slater, died Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Legendary Nursing & Rehabilitation in Marshall.

Memorial services will be Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Slater United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Molly Moore officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Slater United Methodist Church in care of Weiker Funeral Home.

Born Oct. 8, 1946, in Kansas City, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Jim and Elizabeth Mohr Armstrong. She had been married to Harry Lightfoot, and he survives of Slater.

She is survived by three sons, Greg Lightfoot and his wife, Melissa, of Warrensburg, Brad Lightfoot of Slater, and Scott Lightfoot and his wife, Julie, of Green Ridge; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Fangmann of Marshall. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.

Ms. Lightfoot was a longtime member of the Slater United Methodist Church. She had worked at Fitzgibbon Hospital and the Marshall Habilitation Center switchboards until her retirement. Following her retirement, she was a cashier at Johnson’s Package Shop in Slater. She enjoyed playing Bridge and Pitch, and going to the casino.
