Carol L. Clevenger, 79, of Marshall, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Per her request, no services will be held. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.

Born June 21, 1943, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late William and Joyce Tillotson Jett. On Aug. 30, 1964, at Sharon, she married Buck Clevenger, and he survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Jeff Clevenger and his wife, Lori, of Midland, Texas, and Matt Clevenger of Sedalia; and three grandchildren, Olivia Clevenger, Tyler Clevenger and Bryce Clevenger.

Mrs. Clevenger was raised in rural Miami, later moving to Marshall. She was of the Baptist faith and was a 1961 graduate of Slater High School.
