Edward C. “Bud” Worthington, 96, of Marshall, Mo., died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, at The Arbors at Westport Estates in Marshall.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville with William W. Harlow officiating. Memorials are suggested to the charity of donor’s choice. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born Dec. 12, 1925, in Mitchellburg, K.Y., he was the son of the late William A. Worthington and Nellie E. Gray Worthington. Bud served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II. His career was spent as a truck driver.

Survivors include three children, Carol Sue Demo, Dawn Goeth and Lindsay Dooley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death his parents; one son; and one sister, Marie

Hewitt.
