Several of Bill Fox’s relatives, including his four children - Kristin, Derek, Shawn and Brendon, were on hand as the Santa Fe R-X School District honored the former head coach who passed away earlier this year. Fox was head coach of the Chiefs’ football program for 12 years, winning 10 district titles, nine I-70 Conference crowns, seven trips to the state semifinals, three state championship game appearances and one state championship – a perfect 14-0 record in 2000. The Chiefs shut out St. Vincent of Perryville 12-0 in the title game at the TWA Dome in St. Louis.(Hobby King/Democrat-News)
