4 hospitalized after shooting reported at Living Room Bar

An incident that took place at The Living Room Bar, located on West Vest Street in Marshall, early Sunday morning, resulted in four people being hospitalized.

According to the Marshall Police Department, an emergency 911 call was made at approximately 1:20 a.m., reporting gunshots at the bar. Law enforcement and ambulance personnel were dispatched to the scene.

A statement from MPD noted that four people were hospitalized, with one person later being transported to the University of Missouri Hospital, who is now reportedly in stable condition. Three victims were treated and released.

“The Marshall Police Department has identified a suspect, and documentation has been provided to the Saline County Prosecutor’s Office for formal charges,” MPD stated.
