The Missouri State Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood held its 131st annual convention June 6-8. More than 300 representatives of P.E.O. chapters across Missouri attended including delegates, Judy Teupel, President of the JS Chapter of Marshall and Brenda Jansen, President of Chapter LP, Marshall, who reside in Sweet Springs. Also attending from the area were Rebecca Early and Lori Godsey from Chapter GM of Marshall.
Nine Scratchers tickets with $1,000 prizes were sold by retailers in Saline County during the month of May. The tickets were from various Scratchers games, including “$100 Million Cash Bonanza,” “100X,” “200X Cash Blitz,” “Break the Bank” and others.
