Marshall’s boys’ tennis team lost its first two duals of the season.
The No. 3 Missouri Valley College men’s volleyball team traveled to St. Louis, Mo., Tuesday evening, for a Heart of America Athletic Conference match against Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo.). The Vikings swept their way to a victory by scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-15.
After battling back from a 7-5 deficit to tie the game with two tallies in the bottom of the seventh, and failing to push across the winning run in tat frame and again in the ninth inning with a runner in scoring position each time, the host Marshall Owls eventually fell to the Chillicothe Hornets 12-7 in their second game of a triangular baseball event Saturday, March 22.
