JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MARCH 27, 2025 – The second annual Missouri Historic Preservation symposium, hosted by the Missouri State Historic Preservation Office, the City of Jefferson and The Missouri Alliance for Historic Preservation, is set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at the Lewis and Clark State Office Building in Jefferson City.
The statewide gas price average in Missouri is $2.91 for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel, according to the AAA Missouri Weekend Gas Watch. That price is 10 cents more compared to this day last week and 36 cents less per gallon compared to this day last year. Of the major metropolitan areas surveyed in Missouri, drivers in Columbia are paying the most on average at $3.02 while drivers in St. Jospeh are paying the least at $2.75 per gallon. The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.15, which is three cents more compared to this day last week and 38 cents less compared to the price per gallon at this same time last year, according to AAA Gas Prices.

Sedalia – March 26, 2025 – High school seniors who choose to enroll in Technical Education or Health Science programs at State Fair Community College in the fall are invited to participate in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Signing Day at 10 a.m. April 9 in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus.
Recipients this year include fire departments in the counties of Atchison, Audrain, Buchanan, Butler, Cass, Dallas, DeKalb, Dent, Howell, Knox, Linn, Macon, Miller, New Madrid, Oregon, Ozark, Pike, Pulaski, Saline, Shelby, Taney and Texas.
