The statewide gas price average in Missouri is $2.84 for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel, according to the AAA Missouri Weekend Gas Watch. That price is flat compared to this day last week and five cents less per gallon compared to this day last year. Of the major metropolitan areas surveyed in Missouri, drivers in St. Louis are paying the most on average at $2.93 while drivers in St. Jospeh are paying the least at $2.70 per gallon. The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.12, which is four cents less compared to this day last week and 15 cents less compared to the price per gallon at this same time last year, according to AAA Gas Prices.

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) reminds Missouri hunters and anglers that related annual permits expire at the end of February, including 2024 permits for small game, fishing, trout fishing, and combination hunting and fishing. Annual permits are available for purchase. Permits for spring turkey hunting and some other upcoming hunting seasons will be available closer to the start of the respective season.
During its recent meeting on Thursday, Feb. 27, the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Public Works made significant strides in infrastructure improvement by approving a bid for sewer rehabilitation and advancing electric distribution upgrades.
