The Marshall Lady Owls had their chances to beat Macon last Friday night.
The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s basketball teams traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for a Heart of America Athletic Conference doubleheader against Mount Mercy (Iowa), Saturday afternoon. The women’s team fell by a final score of 84-64. The men’s team came back from a halftime deficit to earn an 82-73 win.
The No. 15 Missouri Valley College men’s wrestling team finished the Missouri Valley Invitational Saturday inside the Burns Athletic Complex. The event featured 50 NAIA programs, including 21 ranked teams and more than 500 wrestlers. The Vikings produced one finalist, two placers and finished fifth in the team standings.
