The Marshall Owls soccer team made a strong bid to get back to the Class 2 Final Four Saturday.But the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats scored the final three goals, the last one being 2-1/2 minutes deep into the second overtime to beat the Owls 3-2 in a thriller at the Marshall High School Sports Complex.It was like a kick to the gut delivered by the Wildcats, who once trailed 2-0.Marshall head coach Justin Van Winkle was disappointed in the loss, but said the Owls gave it all they had.“Both teams battled hard,” he said.
