Spartans stun Valley with late comeback

After playing pretty well for 50-plus minutes, the last 10 minutes turned out to be disastrous for the Missouri Valley College football team last Saturday.Host Missouri Baptist scored two touchdowns in the final 4-1/2 minutes, erasing a nine-point deficit and stopped a late Valley possession to win the Heart of America Athletic Conference South Division game 29-23 last Saturday.Valley head coach Casey Creehan was disappointed in the outcome, but said the Vikings gave 100 percent.“They played hard.
