The five remaining schools in the North Central Missouri Conference (NCMC)—Hannibal PublicSchools, Kirksville School District, Marshall Public Schools, Mexico Public Schools, and Moberly School District have made the difficult decision to dissolve the conference, effective at the end of the 2025-2026 school year.A press release says, the NCMC, which has proudly supported student-athletes since its founding in 1971, has seen significant changes over the years as several member schools have moved to other conferences.Providing the best opportunities for student-athletes remains the top priority.
