Fulton man charged with trafficking drugs after I-70 well-being check

A Fulton man has been charged with trafficking drugs after a large amount of fentanyl was reportedly located in his vehicle when emergency personnel conducted a well-being check on the interstate.On Friday afternoon, June 14, Missouri State Highway Patrol received a report of a driver unresponsive near the Sweet Springs exit of westbound Interstate 70.According to a probable cause statement, troopers arrived and found a Mustang with Texas registration parked on the right shoulder of the interstate.

Local students named to Missouri State University’s Spring 2024 Dean’s List

SPRINGFIELD — Each semester, students at Missouri State University who attain academic excellence are named to the dean’s list.For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the spring semester and at least a 3.50 grade point average (on a 4.00 scale).More than 4,800 students were named to the Spring 2024 Dean’s List.
