Saline County terminates engineering services contract
The Saline County Commission terminated its engineering services contract with Rhodes Engineering Wednesday, May 1.According to a statement issued by the county, commissioners held a special session Wednesday morning to approve and sign letters to send to the Missouri Department of Transportation so projects could be reassigned and transferred to a new engineering firm.The letter stated that due to “long-term staff members retiring and not being able to find qualified personnel to fill those open positions, Rhodes Engineering Company can no longer provide the necessary engineering services required to complete the terms” of the contract dated Nov.
