The Marshall Police Department responded to the following calls from May 9-11, 2024:- Traffic Stop – Mr.
A Marshall man is facing two felony counts for sexual molestation of a juvenile and child molestation after a victim told someone he touched her.According to unofficial online court documents, Justin Hendricks, 42, of Marshall, has been charged with first-degree sexual abuse – victim is less than 14 years of age; and second-degree child molestation – child less than 12 years of age; both class B felonies.Probable cause statements filed with the Saline County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office indicate that the alleged victim told someone he pulled her pants down and touched her, and then the witness reported the information to the Marshall Police Department.The incidents occurred multiple times over several years, particularly when spending the night with other kids at his residence.
A Colorado man is facing two misdemeanor charges after striking a vehicle on Interstate 70 and then fleeing the scene.According to a probable cause statement filed in the case, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper was notified of a crash at 12:35 p.m.

A 20-year-old Malta Bend woman is facing charges in Saline County after allegedly striking a woman in the head with a closed fist and continuing to attempt assaulting her.According to a probable cause statement filed in the case, it was reported to a Saline County sheriff’s deputy that on Monday, May 6, Tatum Smith came into the Malta Bend residence and asked one of the women in the home for a ride to Marshall for medication and food.
The Saline County Career Center recognized 16 students recently by awarding them the Career and Technical Education certificate.
