Marshall man arrested on burglary charges

Marshall police officers were dispatched to the 700 block of North Odell Avenue on Monday, April 15, for reports of an active burglary.According to a probable cause statement, officers were advised that Brent Yvain Reynolds, 41, of Marshall, was actively breaking into the residence and that he had a knife.Upon arrival, officers were advised that Reynolds had left the residence on foot.According to the probable cause statement, officers caught up with Reynolds and advised him to drop the knife, to which he complied.

Club News

The Marshall Kiwanis Club held its regular meeting at noon Tuesday, April 16, at Montague’s.Randal DeMasters offered the invocation, and Club President Elect Jeff Bergstrom led the Pledge of Allegiance and called the meeting to order with 19 members and one guest in attendance.Jack Lenz introduced his son, who was visiting from out of state.Due to the fact that there was no regular program, various members shared stories and jokes from the past.
