MPS Transportation Department earns Fleet Excellence Award | Superintendent talks legislation

The Marshall Public Schools Transportation Department again earned the Fleet Excellence Award.Superintendent Caleb Petet announced the award to the Board of Education at a meeting Tuesday, March 12.“I just want to brag on Craig Thompson and his leadership – his group of guys that are like a family that work hard together,” Petet stated.

Volunteer Focus | Community Food Pantry

On any given day, six regular volunteers – and a handful of others who can help periodically – race through the warehouse of Community Food Pantry as community members wait outside for food products.The pantry is supported by both monetary and food donations.“ConAgra and Cargill have been good to us,” board member Jerry Hedrick stated.
