Pray not amiss

Ark Ministries/Global Outreach, Ministry of the Hope of the World Now is the time we should agree that prayer is needed for persecuted Christians and Jews in our country and throughout the world. There are thirty thousand Christians incarcerated in North Korea, China sentences Christians to prison camps, Christian martyrs are dying at the hands of Boko Haram in Nigeria, there is, of course, the war in Israel caused by the evil Hamas terrorists, and now there is a worldwide genocidal call against all Jews.

Winds of change

One recent afternoon, I was sitting in the house when I noticed the sound of the wind picking up outside. Glancing out the front door window, I saw the American flag whipping first this direction, then another, and then yet another. The flag has been hanging here at Shiloh for several years, and still gives us a sense of pride and thankfulness when we see it. At that moment, however, with all of its waving, back and forth from here to there, snapping and popping in the wind, it reminded me of the people - even the nation - it represents these days.
