Contributing Writier One of the great classics of children’s literature is Kenneth Graham’s “The Wind in the Willows.” A great book to read to children, you will meet Mr. Badger, Toad, Ratty, Otter and Mole. The characters are very spirited and have many adventures in the countryside of Toad Hall. The story begins on the riverbank and continues to the open road and then on to the wild wood. Perhaps there is a bit of Toad in all of us. Enjoy!
The Marshall Police Department responded to the following calls Aug. 14-19, 2023: – Recovered stolen vehicle from Livingston County, Mo. At 12:51 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, the owner of a stolen vehicle contacted MPD to report it may have been located at Walmart. She stated it was taken from her residence in Hale Thursday evening, and she checked the “Find My Device” application and observed her air pods were located at the retailer. Officers searched the parking lot and located a vehicle that matched the description and a check of the license plate came back to the reporting party. They observed a key ring with air pods on the passenger seat.
