When I was but a lad in the 60’s, it was the centennial commemoration for many battles and events that surrounded the Civil War. I remember how grand but old all the ceremonies on TV looked, then my father explained centennial meant 100, 100 years.
The Marshall Board of Public Works met Thursday, June 16, and Human Resources Manager Megan Baldridge presented a new head protection policy to the board, which they approved. Baldridge also congratulated Jedidiah Rife on being selected as Employee of the Quarter for the quarter ending March 31.
