The Marshall Kiwanis Club held its regular meeting at noon Tuesday, July 11. Club President Chad Unterreiner offered the invocation, led the Pledge of Allegiance, and called the meeting to order with 24 members and five guests in attendance.

JEFFERSON CITY – Though it’s been a drier start to summer than usual, seasonal growth along Missouri’s roadways still needs to be mowed. The Missouri Department of Transportation urges motorists to use caution when encountering tractor mowers near the shoulders of interstates and other busy roadways.

Pearl Carrillo, D.O. joins Marshall Family Practice

Marshall Family Practice has a new provider that will be recognizable to many who have been hospitalized at Fitzgibbon Hospital, as Pearl Carrillo, D.O., has joined the staff in the clinic. Patients can see Carrillo at Marshall Family Practice, located on the southeast side of the hospital campus. She had previously worked as a hospitalist, seeing inpatients only, since 2010.

How much is God’s son worth to you

It is so important that we live an honest life and be a witness before the Lord in all we do every day. It is true that temptations do come from the enemy but God has given us the power and authority to resist and live a life of integrity. “He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son.” 1 John 5; 10-11.
