It began when she was on her way home from work, driving near Arrow and Miami streets, and she saw a woman walk away from a Little Food Pantry with one can of food. Christy England tried to turn around to speak with the woman to see if she needed additional food, but was unable to catch up to her.

This Sunday is the day to remember and think about our fathers. My Dad did not attend worship with us on Sunday morning. He was raised Lutheran (Missouri Synod), he appreciated his particular style of worship. However, he never missed a VBS, Christmas or Children’s program that included my sister or me. We would get ready for Sunday ready. By the time we got home, Dad was already home and the potatoes were cooking with the roast in the oven.
