Sweet Springs School Board closes out 2022-2023 school year

The Sweet Springs Board of Education met Thursday, June 22, and Superintendent Lori Price shared her appreciation for the staff. In her report to the board, Price thanked the summer maintenance crew for their preparations for the upcoming school year, the central office staff, summer school staff, building administrators and food service staff for their hard work and dedication throughout the school year.

Fitzgibbon Hospital enters phase 2 on lab renovation

In an effort to increase capabilities as well as make the lab draw experience more patient-friendly, Fitzgibbon Hospital has embarked on a remodel project for its lab that has now entered phase 2. The first phase created a new draw area near a high traffic location that allows lab personnel to greet patients at a window closer to registration. This also allows for staff to assist patients or visitors who may be seeking directions to find their destination within the hospital.
