National Hospital Week to be observed May 7 – 13

Where would our community be without access to healthcare? And where would our community be without a facility like Fitzgibbon Hospital, one of Saline County’s largest employers? Rural communities across the nation have had to wrestle with these questions as their hospitals have not been able to survive the economic headwinds that have impacted them. And yet Fitzgibbon Hospital celebrated its 100year anniversary last week; and the independent, not-for-profit, 501(c)3 hospital continues to focus on the future of healthcare delivery into the next 100 years.

The truth of love: Worship

ARK MINISTRIES HOPE OF THE WORLD A loved one turned on the radio when I was singing. Not that I sing badly (hopefully) it just stimulated them to worship music. Corporate worship in fellowships bring honor and glory to our Lord and blessings to us. Read the prophetic Psalm 22 and know that He inhabits the praises of His people. In God’s word we find truth.

Viking golfer earns fourth HAAC weekly award

MVC ATHLETICS A Missouri Valley College men’s golfer has earned another weekly award from the Heart of America Athletic Conference for his performance last week. Freshman Mateo Quiroga (Canelones, Uruguay) has been named the Heart Men’s Golfer of the Week for the fourth time this season, capturing the individual title at the Heart Championship last week at The Preserve on Lake Rathbun in Moravia, Iowa.
