MVC ATHLETICS The Missouri Valley College men’s golf team played at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship at The Preserve on Rathbun Lake Golf Course in Moravia, Iowa. In three rounds of play, the Vikings finished one stroke back of first place, and produced the individual conference cham- pion.

All five Marshall Owl golfers shot better rounds than the host Odessa Bulldogs in a dual match at Shirkey Golf Course in Richmond Tuesday. Medalist was MHS junior Reece Tyler with a 41.
The Marshall Owls won three events and the Sweet Springs Greyhounds two at the Smith-Cotton Invitational Tuesday in Sedalia. Marshall junior Stephen Caviness was a triple event winner.
