As spring rolls in, we find ourselves busy trying to get specific chores done ‐ or “doin’ the things” as they say. We need to start cut‐ting, splitting and stacking firewood for the future.
On March 25, 2023, SCCC DECA & HOSA worked to raise $500, which was donated to Children’s Mercy Hospital as their community service activ‐ity for the month. With the help of the community, both organizations were able to help provide funds to be given to parents who need help with the expense of traveling back and forth from the hospital.

March 26, 1927 – March 30, 2023 Dan Silverthorn, 96, of Marshall, Mo., died Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Fitzgibbon Hos‐pital in Marshall. Graveside services with military rites will be held at 2 p.m.

April 2, 1952 – March 30, 2023 Myron Van Bigler Sr., 70, of Marshall, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Fitzgibbon Hospital surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m.
