Fitzgibbon Hospital, in ac‐cordance with its mission to “improve the health of our community” will be promoting healthy and active lifestyles among our local youth as it collaborates with the Marshall Public Schools during its up‐coming Athletic Equipment Drive.
Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Fear hits people in many different ways. Worries and anxieties are at one end of this scale, terror and desper‐ation at the other. We use all sorts of coping mechanisms to deal with fear — height‐ened or reduced activity, good or bad changes to our diet, chemicals to cover things up, media distrac‐tions, exercise or work, hob‐bies (this list can go on). What we can often not do is get to the root of the fear; all these means are ways to push the fear into the back‐ground as we try desper‐ately to not notice it. Yet it is still there, and is a weight on us affecting how we think, feel, and live.

During a Sweet Springs Board of Al‐dermen meeting held Monday, April 10, City Clerk Michelle Fuehring read the General Municipal Election results, and the board officially accepted the results. All newly elected officials were sworn in, and Mayor Francis Vaught called the new session to order.
JEFFERSON CITY (March 29, 2023) – Arrow Rock State His‐toric Site is hosting edu‐cational programs for schoolchildren this spring. Programs will be held Tuesdays through Fridays April 11 to May 26, starting at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m., depending on the school’s preference. Each program lasts ap‐proximately two hours.
