Two Owl wrestlers advance to State Tourney

Two Marshall Owl wrestlers won their way to the state tournament over this past weekend. By finishing in the top four of their respective weight classes at the Class 2, District 4 tournament at Excelsior Springs Friday and Saturday, Marshall sophomore Mason Evans and junior Brenden Marquess are heading to Columbia to battle the state’s best grapplers.

MHS athletes bond with Common Good Natural Living consumers on volleyball court

MARSHALL HIGH SCHOOL Some Marshall High School athletes have spent a couple of their days out of school at Common Good Natural Living, playing volleyball with the consumers. This plan was formed by Sara Boston from Common Good, which provides care and treatment for those in the residential setting. It also includes a day habilitation service that is called Branch Out.
