FULTON — Westminster College is proud to announce those students named to the Fall 2022 Dean's List for exemplary academic performance. The list of 227 students includes 51 freshmen, 53 sophomores, 69 juniors and 54 seniors.
This year, 32 Saline County Career Center DECA students participated at district‐level competition in UMKC on Feb. 1 2023. There will be eight mem‐bers who will be moving on to com‐pete at the state vel, which is held March 12‐14, at Westin Crown Center in Kansas City.

The Lafayette County School Districts of Concordia, St. Paul, Santa Fe, Trinity, and Wellington/ Napoleon have recently collaborated with School Resource Officers to create a Youth Safety Team. The creation of this collaboration stemmed from a professional development opportunity that allowed stakeholders to view a documentary entitled “Childhood 2.0.” After viewing, a discussion began regarding how to include our communities in this important safety initiative.
Boone Hospital Foundation donated an Automated External Defibrillator – or AED – to the Village of Arrow Rock on Friday, Jan. 27. Representatives from the foundation and community gathered late that morning for the presentation. Anthony Weatherford developed the proposal that brought the device to Arrow Rock.
The West‐Central Missouri Music Educators District recently featured the per‐formances of the All‐District Bands on Jan. 7 at University of Central Missouri in Hendricks Hall, and the All‐District Orchestra on Jan. 14 at State Fair Community College in the Stauffacher Theatre.
