In a matchup of No.10-ranked Santa Fe and Pilot Grove, a team which was receiving votes in the Class 1 poll of the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association last week, the Lady Chiefs prevailed 56-52 Monday. Marshall-Saline Economic Development Corporation will be searching for a new director, as Cydney Mayfield has resigned from the position. She had been the executive director since July of 2021. According to MSDC board president Sandy Hisle, Mayfield accepted a position elsewhere.
