Recollections: A kind community

Acts of kindness, be they random or planned, lay in the foundation of the 'Golden Rule.' The principle of treating others as one wants or would have wanted to be treated is something some do instinctively; others may need to decide if they are part of the problem or part of the solution. The truth is I enjoy doing acts of kindness. I also appreciate receiving random acts of kindness. Witnessing random acts of kindness brings me joy.

Fitz welcomes first baby of 2023

Fitzgibbon Hospital and Marshall Women’s Care announce the birth of the first baby born in 2023! Lucio Ernesto Alarcon was born on Jan. 3 at 7:07 a.m. to Lisandra and Santiago Alarcon. Baby Lucio weighed in at 6 lbs., 8.4 oz. and measured 19 ½ inches long. The delivering provider was William Smith, M.D., OB/GYN Physician at Marshall Women’s Care.
