Art Hains Update: Family says road to recovery slowly improving

It’s one of the most perplexing and unsettling health stories the Ozarks has dealt with in 2022. Well-known and muchloved broadcaster Art Hains, the pre-and-postgame host on the Chiefs Radio Network and long-time Voice of the Missouri State Bears, was seemingly healthy when he traveled down to Fayetteville on September 17 to cover the Bears football game against the Arkansas Razorbacks.

And Jesus saith unto them, “Yea, have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise.” Matthew 21:16. I believe that what Jesus was saying, basically, in this verse is that children have a different way of hearing, seeing and telling things that they learn than we do. We as grown-ups have gotten so involved in worldly things of every day hassles that we forget how to look at life through the minds of innocent and simple reasoning. When asked by the disciples who was the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus called a child over to Him and said, “I assure you that unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the Kingdom of heaven. The greatest in the Kingdom of heaven is the one who humbles himself and becomes like this child.” Matthew 18:1-4. The key phase here is ‘Humbles himself and becomes like this child.’ I am reminded of a story about two Missionaries.
