The Slater Lady Wildcats started slowly and couldn’t catch up in a 49-40 home loss to Bunceton/Prairie Home in the season opener. The visiting Lady Dragons led 12-7 after one quarter and increased it to 31-17 at the break.

On the morning of Oct. 15, the Emergency Department staff at Fitzgibbon Hospital had no idea the turn their day would take.
