YMCA invites public to Breakfast with Santa

Join the Salt Fork YMCA to enjoy a sausage and pancake breakfast as they will have Mr. and Mrs. Claus present for pictures as well as games and crafts for the kids to enjoy. Breakfast courtesy of the Knights of Columbus. All proceeds will go to the YMCA Annual Campaign. There is a nominal registration fee, which can be paid online or at the front desk now through Dec. 3. Breakfast with Santa will take place from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.

The Marshall Writers’ Guild met Thursday, Nov. 17, in the Marshall Public Library. Present were Vice-President Sharon Eiker-Dyer, Holly Forsman, Pat Hammer, Carol Raynor, Sean Rea, President Ed Richards, Treasurer Carole Schaefer, Secretary Sidney Sullivan, Virginia Sprigg, and guests Stacey Ballenger and Wicky Sleight. Absent were Melanie Dees Campbell, Rayvin Freeman, Pat Hammer, Eveleth Hill, Anmarie Gibson, Vince Lutterbie, Ed and Authorene Phillips, and the Rev. Mary Williams.
