We like to think we are blessed - or lucky enough - to live in a democratic republic where elections are held to determine new leaders; where law-abiding citizens have a voice in the election process. That belief has, for better or worse, been called into question over the past few election cycles. And soon we will have the opportunity to cast ballots once again.
The Marshall Kiwanis Club held their regular meeting at noon, Tuesday, Oct. 18 at Montague’s. Charles Ferguson offered the invocation and Club President Chad Unterreiner led the Pledge of Allegiance and called the meeting to order with 21 members and two guests in attendance.
