Members of the Marshall High School Class of 1976 gathered for their 45th/46th class reunion during the weekend of the MHS Return to the Roos, which was held Friday and Saturday, June 10 and 11. Their 45th reunion had been rescheduled in 2021 due to COV1D protocols. A social gathering was held on Friday evening at Indian Foothills Park’s North Point Shelter House and Saturday evening during Return to the Roost. Class members enjoyed delicious sandwiches, fruit, charcuterie treats, appetizers and beverages in the east room at Montague’s on the Marshall square. Decorated sugar cookies and cupcakes were furnished by Sherry Shannon Werneke and her family and shared with other attendees outside, as well. Class members participated in various events for the weekends, such as the alumni car show and cruise, golf and tennis events, 1970s block party and general socializing. A few classmates gathered at Bueker Middle School to walk the halls and remember high school and fun times of their past.
