Patricia Ann Christy, 88, of Salina, Kan., died on May 18, 2022, after a long and rewarding life. She was born in Sargent, Neb., on June 1,1933, to Harold and Lottie (Stockham) Helmick.
The Marshall School District graduation for the class of 2022 will take place this Sunday afternoon, May 22, at 2 p.m. Entry into the stadium will be through the main gate, on the east side of the field. The gate will open at 1 p.m.
A crash on state Highway 240 Wednesday afternoon, May 18, left two people with injuries, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. The incident occurred when a 2010 Dodge — driven by Rebecca Sanders, 27, of Marshall — was traveling east on the highway.
During the Marshall City Council meeting on Monday, May 16, council members reviewed a first reading for a proposed ordinance to execute an agreement with Berlin and Company LLC. City Administrator JD Kehrman further explained the details of the proposal for the operation of the Martin Community Center.
