Lance returns to state

WARRENSBURG — Marshall senior Jada Lance ran fast enough Saturday to earn a return appearance to the MSHSAA Class 4 Track and Field Championships. Lance made the cut a year ago in the 100-meter Lance made the cut a year ago in the 100-meter dash, finishing 13th in the preliminary.

Malta Bend Memorial American Legion Post 558 donates to the Saline County Career Center Educators Rising chapter

On May 19, SCCC Educators Rising received a generous donation from the Malta Bend Memorial American Legion Post 558. The donation of $3,000 will help support Educators Rising Members competing at the Educators Rising National Conference and Competition June 24-27, 2022 in Washington, D.C.
