Kurt Schroer, DO/MBA, Family Practice Physician at Marshall Family Practice began seeing patients a few weeks ago. Marshall Family Practice is designated as a Patient Centered Medical Home and is located inside the Fitzgibbon Medical Clinic next to Fitzgibbon Hospital. Dr. Schroer returned to the area to be close to his mother who is battling lung cancer.
Phyllis Ann Perkins Kimzey, 86, of rural Odessa, Mo., formerly of Saline County, died Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Centerpoint Hospital in Independence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.
Jeannie Donnell Horton, 53, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Marshall, died Thursday, May 26, 2022, at her home. Celebration of Life services will be held at 11 a.m.
Gary Lee Fletcher, 61, of Waverly, Mo., died Tuesday, May 24, 2022, near Grand Pass, Mo. The family will hold a memorial service at 10:30 a.m.
